Annual Executive Housing Finance Course: ‘Innovations in Housing Finance: What Housing Finance Professionals Need to Know’

Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania is conducting the final year of its acclaimed international housing finance course which will be held online over a two-week period.  The course invites participants from private and public housing finance institutions, developer companies, academic institutions and international development institutions, which promotes interaction of different ideas and offers excellent opportunities to create connections.

The housing sector is critical to stimulate economic growth and generate employment in order to help emerging market economies address the economic crisis which has hit the countries on account of the Covid-19 pandemic. Policy-makers and private practitioners are assessing their country’s housing sector and the housing finance systems to resolve certain economic issues. For this, the professionals need analytical and cutting-edge information on new developments and ways to optimise government’s support for the sector. The Housing Finance Course addresses these issues and aims to acquaint  housing professionals with the necessary comprehensive tools to enable constructive partnerships in promoting housing finance systems in their countries.

The programme integrates interactive teaching tools and holds a 40-year history of providing participants with the latest knowledge in the changing international context.

The classes run for 4 hours each day, from 7AM - 11 PM EST, i.e. 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM IST. The course fee is USD 5,000.The course includes 12 modules, featuring:
