The webinar on ‘Homes for a Sustainable World: India’s Successes with Climate-Resilient Solutions’ will be organised as a part of the 12th Sankalp Global Summit 2020 being held from November 02 - 06, 2020. This webinar is being conducted in association with Habitat for Humanity's Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter (TCIS) on the overarching theme of ‘Global Opportunities in Housing’.
The event will feature the following three sessions:

Introduction and overview by Mr. Anoop Nambiar (Country Director, TCIS) and Ms. Shruti Narayan (Upstream Officer, Asia Pacific Cities Platform).
2. Policy action: Creating an enabling environment for affordable housing in India:
The session will be addressed by Dr. Shailesh Agarwal (Executive Director, Building Materials and Technology Promotion Council [BMTPC], Government of India)
3. Housing innovations: 3D printed homes and alternative models:
The session will be moderated by Mr. Deepak Visvanathan (Senior Technical Advisor, TCIS). The expert panel comprises: Mr. Tharun Kumar (Co-Founder and CEO, ECOSTP); Mr. Hasit Ganatra (Co-Founder, Re-Materials, Modroof); Mr. Adithya Jain (Co-Founder, Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions); Mr. Aditya Shukla (Co-Founder and CEO, Recycler India - Saltech Design Labs); and Ms. Priyanka Gupta (Co-Founder and COO, Kaushal Bhaav Skill Solutions).
